Wedding FAQs

What do I need to get married in Scotland?

Please see legal requirements page.

Can I get married outdoors?

Yes … you can marry anywhere in Scotland, a beach or mountainside or a wooded glen… if you are marrying in or on private property then you will need the permission of the owner.

Can you legally marry us?

Yes!!  I am registered through the General Registrar Scotland as a non conformist minister and therefore authorised to legalise your marriage and sign your schedule.

What are the fees?

This can be dependent on what you are wanting and where you want me to travel to.

On Skye there are no travel costs however if you need me to travel outwith the Skye and Lochalsh area I will add travel and accommodation costs if needed.

I do keep these costs to minimum as much as possible.

ALL CEREMONIES are £600 Except sacred ceremonies which start at £750.

Can you help me plan my wedding?

I do not do any of the planning though I can send you links and recommendations of other services you may be interested in using.

I help craft your ceremony, suggest rituals and readings and help with the personalised wording of your ceremony.
